Joran Quintent is a frontend engineer at Jumbo who fell in love with innovation. Joran likes to drive development of new ideas and prototypes into practical solutions and getting people and technology to play nice with each other. At Jumbo, one of the largest grocery chains in the Netherlands, the team values the independent nature and ownership of teams, while also striving to put the customer first. Joran’s talk is about the journey the Jumbo team took coming from a monolith (teams working on the same codebase) to having specific Nuxt applications spread across teams, where each team has full ownership and responsibility on their piece of software.
