Nite People - PM 1969 (UK, Psychedelic Rock/Proto-Prog) Full Album

A band from Southampton (Hampshire), formed in the mid-60s and performing mainly cover versions. Despite this, by 1968 it had become one of the most beloved teams among local viewers. In 1966, a contract was signed with the small Fontana label. After that, seven EPs were released in three years, and in 1969, the album “PM” was released on the Page One label (circulation - 500 copies), which included, in addition to covers (“Peaches En Regalia” by Frank Zappa, “Delilah” by Tom Jones and “Reach Out I’ll Be There“ from “Four Tops“) and his own works. The group often used brass and additional string instruments, and generally played invariably in a good mood, which is why some journalists called its music “freakbeat psych”... In 1970, the group broke up. The French edition of the album has a different cover to the UK original. Tracks: 01. PM - 00:00 02. Rock Island Line - 03:09 03. Train And A River - 06:46 04.
