I had Check Engine Light on, and the auto shop checked it, showing error code P0551, defined as A) Power Steering Pressure Switch Defective or B) Check Connector and Wiring. I bought a replacement switch ($25), but as it turned out, I just needed to clean my connectors and the error message was cleared, but replacing the switch would have been easy too. This is an easy and inexpensive repair for a beginner with basic tools and automotive knowledge. It’s my first instructional video, and I was only motivated to do it because I could not find any clear instructions on where to find this switch on the car.
