Full title reads: “Moslems hold festival. Sultan of Morocco attends ceremony at Rabat“. Rabat, Morocco. Celebrations for Islamic festival of Aid Kebir (either Eid ul-Fitr or Eid ul-Adha). Various shots of Sultan of Morocco, Moulay Mohammed Ben Youssef (aka Sidi Mohammed Ben Youssef, Mohammed V) riding from Royal Palace in Rabat to Mechouar. He rides on horseback, men waving white handkerchiefs walk in front of him. Various shots of Sultan walking through crowd, people bow as he passes them. Various shots of crowd of men praying in open air, towards Mecca. M/S of sheep painted with decorative patterns. M/S of group of men. One of the older men roles up his sleeves and prepares to sacrifice sheep with big knife. Various shots of military parade of Moroccan soldiers and cavalry (the black guard).
