Teddy Tinling Holiday Fashions (1958)

Oxford St., London. M/S over the shoulder of Teddy Tinling, fashion designer, as he studies one of his later designs. In front of him is a table covered in foreign post cards and a yellow straw hat. L/S of the same scene. Tinling sitting on a sofa beside two smartly dressed men and a woman - his assistants. Behind them stands a rack of dresses. Tinling appears to be talking about the design he is holding and at one point indicates to a large gaudily coloured raffia basket one of the men is holding. The man picks up the basket and walks out of shot. M/S of a sophisticated brunette model - Sevilla Glass-Hooper - posing for the group on the sofa. She is wearing “an outfit called beach ball“ which consists of a tall black hat with a large multicoloured brim and matching striped tapered trousers.
