Maritime tensions between China and Japan have flared up again, after their coast guard vessels faced off around disputed islands in the East China Sea. The incident happened yesterday near what Beijing calls the Diaoyu Islands and Tokyo claims as the Senkaku Islands. Relations between the two nations have been tense in recent months, after Japan decided to release treated wastewater from the Fukushima nuclear plant.
