Mi-8MTV2 ✈ Crew Part 1 Campaign by Stone Sky │ Mission #6

April 2, 2016 - Dmitry! Dima, where are you? –Tarasov was in a deep sleep, when he was woken up by a loud voice from his headphones. - What’s up, Portnov? I’m on the left near the window, resting. - Enough sleeping, we’re descending! 20 minutes until landing Let’s go to the naviagator’s cockpit, Fedor kindly allows us to sit in the cockpit during descent and landing. The view is awesome. Onboard the Il-76 it was very noisy and freezing cold. The flight from Norilsk to Bolshevik Island was going to end soon. Ove the next two days, the crew spent their time on the “Chelyabinsk-15” military base . They were waiting for better weather conditions, which were rare in this region. Their acclimatization went well, and after a couple of days the wind died down to 4-6 m/s, the clouds cleared and a severe frost fell across the polar surface. In the navigation room the crew met their new partner- Sergey Novikov, flight engineer and part of the crew of the helicopter RA22845 “Gazprom-Аvia“.
