331MPH 2JZ Engine Teardown - Fastest 2JZ Ever Recorded (SCREAMING 8700+RPM for a Mile!)
On this episode Jay Meagher from real street completes a full teardown inspection of the 2JZ engine used in his 331MPH run. Last year Jay took on the Bonneville salt flats using an RS1600 2JZ in Brad Bosworth’s “Valley Fever“ streamliner. His goal was to join the elite 300MPH club, he did just that reaching top speeds of 331mph! Jay is widely known for his noteworthy accomplishments in tuning, engine building, and drag racing alongside his team at Real Street. This is a very cool moment as we watch and learn from jay dissecting the “aftermath“ from running this 2JZ above 8500RPM for roughly a mile! Enjoy!
