[Tanabata-kai / Kodaiji] With a wish in a strip of paper

In Keicho 11 (1606), Kodai-in was founded by Toyotomi Hideyoshi’s bodhi and his final graveyard, the Kitaseisho Nene and Seishitsu. Bamboo decorations sway in front of the temple during the event. On the west side of the gate, there is a great spot overlooking the city, and the precincts are lit up. Perfect for a cool evening after sunset.
