It seems that colour-blind casting only works when it is white actors who are being replaced!
For some while we have been urged to accept black people taking roles as white kings and queens, on the ground that it is talent alone which should matter in casting. Disney is now in trouble because a woman cast in the role of a Hawaiian is ‘too white’, despite actually being Hawaiian. It seems that skin colour does matter, after all.
