Easy DPN Case | Sewing Tutorial for Beginners | Knitting Needle Case

Have your DPN’s ever slipped right out of your project, leaving dozens of dropped stitches? A basic DPN case is crucial of you plan to knit your rounds with multiple needles. Here is the easiest and strait forward way to sew a basic snap case for your knitting project in DPN’s. My case is larger, made for a neck ribbing or sleeves with 8“ DPN’s, but you can simply adjust the pattern to fit your project with the simple steps I show. Steps: -Measure out your fabric -Cut two pieces of the same measurement. -Sew right sides together leaving a small space to flip your fabric right side out. -Seam close -Add snaps My measurements: For my sweater project I am using 8“ DPN’s on the neck ribbing and sleeves. my DPN case is approximately 9x15 before seaming. Finish case measures about 8x14 (inches). I placed my snaps approximately 2“ up and 1.5“ in.
