Foxconn protests turn violent, workers clash with security at massive iPhone factory in China

Violent protests broke out at Foxconn’s flagship iPhone plant in Zhengzhou, China, on Wednesday (Nov 23), as workers clashed with security personnel over pay and living conditions at the plant. Videos on Chinese social media showed thousands of people in masks facing rows of police in white protective suits with plastic riot shields, as well as some people being beaten.
