EGOYAN / STEENBECKETT 2011

An installation by Atom Egoyan The last 20 minutes of Atom Egoyan’s 35mm film version of Samuel Beckett’s “Krapp’s Last Tape“ is the subject of this installation. The 2000 feet of 35mm film comprising this single master shot are suspended through the gallery and powered through over 100 spindles by an ancient Steenbeck editing table. Edited by Marc Roussel
