Extraordinary CD compilation, and a much awaited one, of the entire discography of Skuggeheim. One of Norway’s best kept gems of this century, Skuggeheim was the solo brainchild of Thor Erik Helgesen, mostly known for Throne of Katarsis. Formed in 2003, and originally known as Grimnisse, the project still released its first demo under this name, although later re-releasing it in 2007 as Skuggeheim, since then the project would release a series one split and a series of EPs, before vanishing in 2014. Finally dug-out from its rotting grave, This compilation gathers all material by the project, including a lot of previously unreleased material, and the 5th EP of the “Daudssyklus“ EP series, which didnt materialize until now. All this material has been expertly remastered. Cold, feral, true evil Black Metal, done in lo-fi production, devoted to the essence of the 90s, hailing artists as Darkthrone and early Arckanum, Skuggeheim crafts its own sound, with no compromise, delivering unbridled, wintery death.
