AWAKEN AKIRA - 1988 TRAILER VERSION / HD

After rewatching Akira in theaters in 4K for the fist time last month, I fell in love again with that masterpiece of master Katsuhiro Otomo. And before that I discovered an incredible trailer from two incredibly talented guys: Ash Thorp and Zaoeyo (XiaoLin Zeng) who made this incredible 3D tribute trailer on AKIRA, called « Awaken Akira ». I loved that tribute so much that I wanted to see what it would be like in 2D with the original scenes from the movie, so I took the superb them created by Pilotpriest and edited the trailer in 2D with some changes in the shots and edit etc.. I had a real pleasure making that for my family and little sister that saw the movie for the first time.
