Gingerbread House Cake 🏠 Recipe (For 7cups size mold) • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour • 3 tsp baking soda • 3 tsp ground ginger • 3 tsp ground cinnamon • 1/2 tsp salt • 1 1/2 cup butter, melted, cooled slightly • 1 1/2 cup brown sugar • 1 cup light molasses • 3 eggs • 2 cups hot water • Optional: powdered sugar Preheat oven to 355˚F. Prepare House Pan with oil and use a pastry brush to evenly coat the details of the pan. Combine flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon and salt in a bowl, combine melted butter and brown sugar. Using a mixer with paddle attachment add eggs, molasses, hot water and mix until well blended. Pour batter into prepared pan, filling only ¾ full. Bake for 45-50 minutes, until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool cake in pan for 8-10 minutes and invert onto cooling rack to cool completely.
