All members are veterans of the Brisbane punk scene and have been playing since the early 1980’s. Rob Garry, lead singer and guitarist in The Arturos was recently recruited to play second guitar and is now a valued member of the “Tugs” family. Their debut four-song EP, released in September 2021 received an outstanding response from community radio across Australia with “Vodka, Lime and Soda” reaching number 4 on the 4ZZZ Hot 100. The debut album ’Monster Hits’ was released in November 2022 and received an overwhelming response from fans and critics around the world. The album includes the 2022 Brisbane 4ZZZ Hot 100, #1 song “I Don’t Like It”. Their highly anticipated second album “Land Speed Record” is released in June 2024 featuring seventeen slices of the bands unique brand of multi-genre punk rock including the 2023 Brisbane 4ZZZ Hot 100 #1 song “One Minute Love Song”.
