Pluspy The Touge Keiichi Tsuchiya HD (1080p60)

This is the extremely rare 1987 Pluspy The Touge. Featuring a 30 year old Keiichi Tsuchiya already the Drift King but not yet a legend. It was only ever available through two methods buy it through the tuning shop P(Pluspy) of Kanagawa or order it via Carboy magazine. This VHS was outlawed in Japan for showing illegal street racing and as such all copies of it were removed from stores and destroyed leaving very few still in existence. Keiichi Tsuchiya himself lost his JAF racing license for participating in this films creation and has tried to distance himself from association with it, making it extremely unlikely there will ever be a better quality version released. This is a VHS rip from my personal copy. The 60fps is not a “smooth motion“ trick. It was done by deinterlacing the original interlaced frames with QTGMC in AviSynth.
