Viral 12-year-old boy’s speech on gender was ‘brave’ and ‘incredible’: Oli London

A 12-year-old boy delivered a “brave” and “incredible” speech after he was forced to justify why he wore a shirt to school which stated “there are only two genders“, says author and commentator Oli London. “It’s really ridiculous because teachers will allow a boy that wants to be a girl to come to school in a dress – with hair extensions, with makeup, because that’s affirming their gender identity,” he told Sky News host Rita Panahi. “But when a boy that wears a T-shirt that’s not a political statement – it’s literally saying a bit of common sense … the fact that he was taken out of the school and he’s now having to speak at the school board meeting to try and defend himself … I think it’s absolutely atrocious.”
