Full titles read: “THE BABY HYDROPLANE - Introducing a real hydro-glider, not to mention Tony Porter, and his 1 hp pet.“ Wentworth, Cambridgeshire. M/S of car driving slowly down picturesque country lane. A small boy is seen sitting in the cockpit of very small aeroplane which is attached to the top of the car. L/S of the boy and his father on a lake with the plane filling up with fuel. An elderly man asks the father how much horse power the machine has, to which the father replies “one horse“. C/U of the engine starting and the tiny propeller spinning round. Intertitle reads: “Tony hopes one day to be a seaplane pilot.“ Various shots of the small boy piloting the small novelty seaplane through the water (it never looks like it’s going to pick up enough speed to take off !).
