Turning from a Researcher to Barista, He has Tasted Nearly 10,000 Types of Coffee over the Past 15 Years
黃俊豪,畢業於臺灣清華大學,從事合成藥物治療癌癥的研究。2006年他辭去高薪工作,從基層做起咖啡師,入行4年就獲得WBC臺灣區亞軍,一次考取SCAA/CQI最高等級證書,順利成為COE/WBC國際感官評審,全國僅5位。
Charles Huang who graduated from National Tsing Hua University worked as a cancer drugs researcher after graduation. In 2006, he resigned from his well-paid job, learning to become a barista from scratch. Only 4 years later, he became the runner-up in Taiwan division of World Barista Championship. He passed the SCAA/CQI Q Grader test at the first try. And he’s also one of the 5 WBC judges in China.
