We remember Charlie Hill, a true Native American Comedy Classic! (July 6, 1951 – December 30, 2013) This is a tribute to Charlie Hill who was one of the first, if not the first Native American Stand-up Comedians to be featured on National TV on the Richard Pryor Show, and this was back in 1974, not that long ago. Charlie lead the way for other Native American comedians who followed. He lived and died with honor! This is just a small part of who Charlie was, a Heyoka and a contrary that told the truth with humor. A Husband, a Father, a Brother and a warrior. Thank you Charlie for always telling the truth. Someday history will finally shine down on your light and tell your story.
