I’m a big fan of Josh Smith and wanted to see how he would play a SRV-style-solo, so I decided to transcribe it and make an analysis-video out of it. Although there’re no exotic scales being used it still is a very tricky solo in terms of feel, phrasing and intensity, so it needs some attention to get it right.
