Report: India detains 200 Chinese as tensions escalate in Himalayas (Full show)

Both China and India have stationed artillery, air support and tens of thousands of troops at the “Line of Actual Control (LAC) in the disputed Ladakh region that lies between the nuclear-armed powers. The 17-month standoff has seen brutal hand-to-hand combat, fatalities, provocations and humiliations on both sides. China’s ambitious Belt and Road initiative has led to closer collaboration with Pakistan, further souring Sino-Indian relations.
