Belarus leader Lukashenko tells BBC the country may have helped migrants into the EU - BBC News

Belarus’ authoritarian leader Alexander Lukashenko has told the BBC he “won’t stop“ migrants travelling through Belarus to reach the EU, because “the West stopped talking to us”. He spoke to the BBC’s Steve Rosenberg, in an exclusive interview, inside the presidential palace. The EU, Nato and the US have accused the Belarus leader of luring migrants to the border with the false promise of easy entry to the EU. Something he has denied.
