Marisia Papalexiou @ The National Archaeological Museum, Athens

Yesterday Dec 24, 2014 while organizing my show “Born in Stone“ the following event was taking place at The National Archaeological Museum of Athens, Greece, which hosted a Christmas concert, featuring string quartet “Arco dell’Arte,” to celebrate the festive season, starting on Christmas Eve at noon. The program presents three top Baroque concertos written for the Christmas holiday (A. Corelli’s Concerto Op.6 No.8 in G minor “Fatto per la notte di Natale,” ’s Concerto Op.8 No.6 in G minor, P. A. Locatelli’s Concerto Op.1 No.8 in F minor) and four arias from J. S. Bach’s “Christmas Oratorio” sung by mezzo-soprano Marisia Papalexiou. Marisia Papalexiou was exquisite with her vibrant voice and charming nature.
