Melbourne Tram Drivers View - Route 11 West Preston to Victoria Harbour 2018

English - This is mone of my favourite views! Melbourne in Autumn is really beautiful. This route 11 drivers view from West Preston to Victoria Harbour was filmed on a fantastic sunny autumn day in 2018. The weekday departure time was 1241pm from West Preston and the sun was in the correct position. The view from the Northern Suburbs gives a great view of the City Skyline as the tram runs down St Georges Road onto Brunswick St. With the new landscaping on St Georges Road, there is an open and bright feel to the area. It’s a busy time of the year with the Australian Formula One Grand Prix at Albert Park and The Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show at The Carlton Gardens both on at the same time. The Route runs through West Preston and down along St Georges Road through Northcote then through the popular bohemiam area of Brunswick St Fitzroy and the very busy Collins St City through to the developing Victoria Harbour Docklands.
