Parikrama around Govardhan. Парикрама вокруг Говардхана 24/10/2022

Govardhan is the famous hill that Krishna raised. Now the diameter of the hill is about 24 km . On this parikrama, our goal was just to get around it before noon, before it got too hot. To see blue cows up close, as they say, is a great luck, but we were lucky. A sadhu singing by the roadside, a rusty loudspeaker reciting a mantra, a girl dancing on a tightrope - all this created a mystical atmosphere of some parallel world. At the end of the parikrama, I sat down on the steps of one of the kunds to rest. But then gradually people began to gather to this place, drums sounded, some kind of fuss began. I realized that some important person was expected to arrive. And that person turned out to be Jayapataka Swami. I have long wanted to get His darshan, and now Govardhan has fulfilled my wish.
