277: 2023 - The Year of the Sauropod

For many of us, 2023 may seem like the year of the interminable theropod. The incessant wave from PNSO had us inundated with carcharodontosaurids and tyrannosaurids. Yet, when I think about it, there was actually another aspect of 2023 that gave me a lot more delight, and that is the incredible offerings of sauropods the year presented. To have the old favourites like Apatosaurus and Diplodocus rendered with the technology and standards of today, _and_ in 1:35, was a dream. Something few people thought we would _ever_ see again.
