WILDFIRE MANWURRK’S huge debut release ’Lonely Bangardi’.
‘Lonely Bangardi’ is the first single from WILDFIRE MANWURRK who are the intersection where a tidal wave of change meets the oldest culture on earth and happens to sound like an 80’s garage rock anthem but sung in age old endangered languages Kune, Dalabon and Rembarrnga.
“Lonely Bangardi’ is part punk, part love song and comes with an honest, no holds barred music video that takes you on the real life journey of challenges when trying to just ‘go bush’.
The first chapter in a two-part series, the video was shot by Robert Sherwood and directed by Natalie Carey (Valentina Brave).
A glimpse into the colourful chaotic world of community where they wanted to show the ‘real Maningrida’, the place that informs their gritty rock and roll sound.
