Arpeggio Study for Jazz on Classical Guitar

On request of CGS Students who play jazz on classical guitar I constructed this arpeggio study as an example of connecting arpeggios on each degree of the Cmajor scale. The Jazz Guitar Arpeggios (on Classical or Jazz Guitar) are useful tools for Soloing Study in the aspect of : 1. technique: * fingerstyle foundation :’Rooting down’ with the RH thumb * Proper fingerpicking techniques: the different RH fingerings for the arpeggio * Position changing: in this concept of following the degrees, the shifts are not easy. They are placed according their melodic/harmonic significance and all position changes are done on strong beats (either beat 1 or 3 in 4/4 time) and harmony: * to spell out chord changes * using arpeggios for harmonic clarity * to create strong melodies that “spell“ the changes out. * Chord tones can be synchronized with the strong beats of the bar and leaving a choice for avoidance of the strong beat.
