Water Systems Deeper Dive - Building Worlds In Unreal - Episode 28
In this video we go more in depth with both the buoyancy system and the fluid simulation system for the water in Unreal Engine . First, I show how to edit pontoons to customize the way objects float. Then I show how to correctly set the mass of objects so that they behave realistically in the water. Finally, I show how to take the dynamic ripples from the example content and apply them to our log object so that the log generates ripples as it bobs around in the water.
