Russian oil makes backdoor entry into Europe; West seeks India’s ’help’ to fulfill demand

Russian oil is getting a backdoor entry into Europe despite the ban over the Ukraine war. Indian refineries are ’exporting’ to Europe due to access to cheap Russian crude. The record-high import of Russian crude oil has boosted the output and profits of Indian refineries. As per KPLER data, the key European buyers are France, Turkey, Belgium, and the Netherlands. Not only Europe but also the United States benefit from India’s vacuum gas oil (VGO) shipment.
