Stefano Scodanibbio - Geografia Amorosa version for double bass and live elettronics Giacomo Piermatti double bass XXXI Rassegna di Nuova Musica Macerata (Italy) - Teatro Lauro Rossi April 15, 2013 Giacomo Piermatti was born in Foligno (PG) in 1986. He studied double bass with Daniele Roccato and Stefano Scodanibbio. In 2011 he obtained his MA from the Conservatory of Perugia with distinction. He is a member of “Ludus Gravis“, a unique ensemble only composed of double basses and devoted to the performance of contemporary music. He has taken part in numerous international festivals such as “Musica D’Hoy“ (Madrid), “Rassegna di Nuova Musica“ (Macerata), “Angelica“ (Bologna), “Music of Changes“ (Klaipeda), “Gaida“ (Vilnius), “Imago Dei“ (Krems), “La Biennale“ (Venice).
