Bleriot XI - assembled and eventually crash landed (1/72)

This stopmotion clip shows the assembling of a vintage old kit from 1965, the sketching of a diorama and the diorama itself. Many thanks to Dirk S., a good friend of mine, who gifted the little gem. He challenged me with this early piece of plastic modelling and I accepted - with the use of some additional parts from Brengun and lots of tiny rods and tubes from Albion Alloys. The book I used as a base is a very old collection of stories I found at a flea market in very bad condition. Therfore I had no worries using it as dioarama base. I hope you like my combination of several techniques and the story of a very old kit modified and placed on an old book. The Bleriot XI first flew in 1909 and was famous for it’s flight over the English Channel. It was also used as a training aircraft for the “Deutsche Heeresverwaltung“ in 1913. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you would like to support my channel please go here: --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Music“We Always Thought the Future Would Be Kind of Fun“ von Chris Zabriskie ist unter der Lizenz “Creative Commons Attribution“ () : ünstler:
