On the 6th of January, insurrectionists stormed the U.S. Capitol in an attempt to overturn the results of an American election. While this violent effort ultimately failed, these challenges - and others that we have seen over the past several years - have called into question the survivability of America’s democracy. Professors Anthony Arend and Elizabeth Saunders discuss these recent threats to the American republic and the ability of American institutions to respond.
