Campbell resigns Legislature seat, but Clark hedges on taking vacancy
VICTORIA - Gordon Campbell took his last steps out of public life Tuesday by resigning his seat as MLA in Vancouver-Point Grey.
The former premier has said all along he’d vacate his seat so that Christy Clark, sworn in yesterday as premier, can run for a seat in the legislature.
So why is Clark being coy about when she’ll call a by-election so she can lead her government’s agenda in the house?
