Tommy Carruthers from Glasgow Scotland offers World Class Instruction in Bruce Lee’s scientific street fighting and is considered one of the best JKD practitioners of our generation. Bruce Lee’s first US student Jesse Glover said that Tommy is about as fast as Bruce himself. Tommy teaches Jeet Kune Do (JKD) the way it was intended to be taught, for self-defense. “We are only interested in practical self-defense techniques that work in real life situations. We are convinced that the mechanical principles of Bruce Lee’s fighting method are as valid today as they were when Bruce Lee was alive.“ Tommy has over 30 years experience in the martial arts which includes training in military self-defense techniques (taught to him by his father), Judo, Jiu-Jitsu, wrestling, Karate, boxing, Ving Tsun (four years with Nino Bernardo’s clan), Non-Classical Gung Fu and finally Jeet Kune Do. Participants will train for one day, 8 hours straight where you will learn “cutting edge” JKD.
