The Okeydoke 1JZ IS300: A Wonderful World

Pardon the brief departure from your regularly scheduled E36 building content, but I wanted to share a collaborative project between me and my good friend Dustin Williams, who owns the lifestyle brand, Okeydoke. Okeydoke’s mantra is simple: no bad vibes. You know, you see a lot of really pretty videos of really pretty drift cars showing you their best runs, their best laps, the best of the best. But what beauty is there in perfection? Does fear of failure not mean the fear of growth? Dustin knew going out on Midpond that day that there would be some growing pains as he grew more comfortable with his car, and that’s okay. Sometimes, the best way to live is to be brave enough to show the world your process. Don’t be scared of messing up because really, we all do it. And then let them watch on as you inevitably end up achieving your goals and so much more in the end- and yes, Dustin was SHREDDING by the end of the day.
