Russia-North Korea relations: Putin and Kim sign strategic partnership treaty in Pyongyang

The leaders of Russia and North Korea are making it crystal clear that they stand side-by-side against all efforts by the West to contain them. Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un have signed what they call a breakthrough treaty, a part of which echoes NATO’s mutual defence partnership.
