Mark Huizinga is a Dutch judoka who competed in -86 and -90 kg weight categories. Huizinga is one of the best Dutch judokas of all time. He was a gold medalist in the Sydney Olympic games. He also won 2 Olympic bronze medals, 1 World bronze medal and 5 European Championships. Huizinga was an incredibly versatile judoka, having a wide range of Tachi-Waza techniques and slick Ne-Waza game. He popularized a pinning technique that is now commonly called Huizinga roll.
