Thought to be Selected Originals from late 1940s material. Paris, France. Katherine Durham’s Negro Ballet performing on stage of Theatre de Paris. Ballet commences. Men jump in air, fall down on their knees and sway backwards and forwards. Girl in foreground twirls around. She also goes down on her knees. Various shots of men and women on stage kneeling down and swaying to and fro. They rise. Girls go off to right of screen. Two principals in centre dance. Two principals finish dance. Man comes from back of stage with drum and dances round it. Chorus dance around him. He retreats in background. Drummers dance in foreground. Girl dancers line up and do rhythmic dance.
