Stop! Look! And Listen! (1932)

Full title reads: “Stop! look! and listen! Uncle Sam introduces his idea of the perfect “Show Girl“ of 1932 (per George White of the famous ’Scandals’ Show)“ An American man introduces Miss Hilda Knight. (This might be the theatrical impresario George White - not sure what he looks like). He states that Miss Knight is his idea of what the 1932 showgirl will look like. C/U of Hilda as the man asks her questions. “How tall are you Hilda?“ She replies “5 foot 6“. She weighs 120 pounds. Her neck measurement is twelve. Her bust measurement is 33. There is a feeble joke about whether this is her age or bust measurement. C/U of Hilda’s waist as she is asked: “What do you measure around the waist?“ Upon answering “25“ the man approves: “Very good!“ Hips are 37, Thighs 21, Calves 12, Ankle 8. As Hilda reels off these measurements the camera tilts down slowly revealing Hilda’s lovely legs - Hilda lifts up her skirt a little.
