Nakago [tang] 18.5 cm (o-suriage, mumei, four mekugi-ana); kiri yasurime [horizontal file marks] Origami: With a certificate of registration designating this blade as Juyo Token (Important Sword) issued by the Nihon Bijutsu Token Hozon Kyokai (Society for the Preservation of the Japanese Art Sword), dated 1977 (25th Juyo session).
