INFERNO (Slaughter to Prevail - “Hell“ piano cover by Stanislavie)

So, it’s ready. This movie is finally out. A little preface: 2015. The idea for this project came to me with a question from a friend of mine about heavy underground styles of music as rock and metal, and if it’s possible to reflect it on piano, conveying the same energy and similarity to the original. The idea seemed quite interesting to me and it remained to choose a right song. I wanted to take something totally unassociated with the piano, something that would make the idea even more unpredictable in implementation. The choice fell on one really popular song is called “Hell“ by the band Slaughter to Prevail, which plays in genre is called Deathcore, really sinister and heavy in it`s atmosphere. I note that the cover itself was invented and recorded at the studio back in 2015, after which I, with the assistance of a talented cameraman and director Alex Karpenko, made a decision: - We’re making a music video! As a result, the project went into production, the script was developed and filming has began. Soon, new people joined the team, which made it possible to introduce a variety of frames and locations into the process. Unfortunately, the filming organizing process was extremely difficult. Because life keeps going, and you are called into it by everyday things in the form of study, work, long distances and resources spent on production process. As a result, the project has since moved to the freezing stage. We unfrozed it only in the end of 2019, when the COVID pandemic has began and there was a lot of time for possible rehabilitation of this “mutant“ in order to bring it into the light. And here we are. After 7 years, I’m posting this video online. And in my opinion, there is no more suitable release date for this project than Halloween;) I want to express my deep gratitude to everyone who helped in the development of this project! This time was one of the most memorable in my life! I also want to thank the Slaughter to Privail band and it`s vocalist Alexander Shikolay for the inspiration in creating this project! Thanks to everyone who has been waiting for this video! And of course, apart from everything, I want to congratulate Alex Karpenko, my project partner and just a good person - this day has come! We did it!!!
