Chasing Dakar Rally racers across the Desert

Whilst I was in the UAE for some riding clinics I got the chance to join Mohammed Balooshi, Simon Marcic and Marciej Giezma on a training ride through the desert. It was bloody awesome but I had to really push to keep up. I don’t think I’ve ridden dunes on a 450 since I raced Dakar in 2012! It was great to follow their lines, the way they read the desert at speed was really impressive.
