I played around with my new sharp - the Albion Talhoffer, a very good average representative of XV century longswords. And one that works quite well in two hands or one - with a variety of grips you will see.
WARNING: Handling a sharp sword, even in solo drills, is incredibly dangerous. Do not do so without proper training, preparation, and supervision.
Do not attempt what you see in the video - relatively fast solo drilling on uneven terrain - before you’ve done 100s of hours of the same with a blunt.
