HTV-8 capture

JAXA’s H-II Transfer Vehicle “KOUNOTORI8” (HTV-8) was captured with the International Space Station’s robotic Canadarm2 by NASA astronaut Christina Koch, backed up by NASA astronaut Andrew Morgan, on 28 September 2019, at 11:12 UTC (07:12 EDT). Kounotori 8, meaning white stork in Japanese, was launched by JAXA’s H-IIB Launch Vehicle No. 8 (H-IIB F8) from the Yoshinobu Launch Complex, at JAXA’s Tanegashima Space Center, Japan, on 24 September 2019, at 16:05 UTC (25 September, at 01:05 Japan Standard Time - J
