How To Craft a Milanese Bracelet Or Any Types of Chains

Hello to all, In today’s video we had the great opportunity of visiting the pretty surprising workshop of Laurent Jolliet, the last chain maker still in business here in Switzerland, crafting bracelets by hand and we got to find out how Milanese bracelets were made. There is unfortunately a lot at stake, since this craft is no longer being taught an unfortunately we could well lose this expertise if no one takes over. Laurent was trained as a jeweller, at the time chain making was part of the training, and he showed us the different techniques enabling to create almost endless possibilities of metal bracelets.
