Demonic Slam: First coined by Damonacy of New Jersey in 1991, Demonic Slam is a darker and demonic related version of Slam Death Metal that has never got much exposure in the metal scene. Characteristics of Demonic Slam are the difference in vocals, which sound more Demonic and Satanic and are similar between Black Metal shrieks and low Death Metal growls. Slams in Demonic Slam often are a little more doomish and atmospheric than usual Slam Death Metal, sometimes they also include keyboards.
